Here's How to Create an Event Response Campaign with Meta Ads: 

Step 01: Set Up Your Campaign Objective
 
Head to Meta Ads Manager and choose "Engagement" as your campaign objective then click "Continue".

Step 02: Choose Campaign Set Up 

Select "Manual Engagement Campaign" then click "Continue".

This setup is ideal for non-experts who are not constantly running Meta Ads.

Step 03: Set up the Conversion Location

Click the drop-down menu and change the "Conversion Location" to "On Your Ad". Then under "Engagement Type", click the drop-down menu and choose "Event Responses"

This is ideal only if you have an existing Facebook Event. If none, and you have a Registration link to use choose "Website" as your Conversion Location and choose "Maximise Number of Conversions or Maximise Number Of Clicks"

Remember: This option is only applicable when you can install pixels to your registration link, if you can't you can still run the campaign but you won't be able to track the actions made on your registration link you can track the number of people that will click on your FB Ads.
